Allan Pixton is a trial attorney and litigation partner with wide experience in a broad array of complex commercial, class action, and mass tort litigation matters in state and federal trial and appellate courts throughout the country. Allan has extensive experience representing plaintiffs and defendants in high stakes class actions, product liability, environmental, breach of contract, consumer protection, fraud, RICO and TCPA matters, among others. Allan shares the Firm’s commitment to social justice and maintains an active pro bono practice.

  • Represent GM in various putative class actions alleging product liability and violations of consumer protection statutes.
  • Represent Polaris Inc. and Polaris Industries Inc. in putative class actions and personal injury matters alleging product liability and/or violations of consumer protection statutes.
  • Represented GM in multidistrict litigation and related matters arising out of various recalls conducted by General Motors LLC.
  • Represented BP in various maters arising from the Deepwater Horizon incident, including congressional and government investigations, and multidistrict civil litigation.
  • Barnes v. Allsup Employment Services, LLC (S.D. Fla.) Represented defendant government contractor in putative nationwide class alleging violations of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act in which the Court denied plaintiff’s motion for class certification.
  • Hurt v. Shell Oil Co., et al. (E.D. Ark.) Represented Celanese Corporation in successful motion to dismiss a putative class action complaint that had sought to collaterally attack landmark Cox v. Shell polybutylene plumbing class action settlement.
  • UAW v. Visteon Corp. (In re Visteon Corp.) (3rd Cir.) Represented Visteon on appeal in Third Circuit from rulings by the Bankruptcy Court and District Court of Delaware in dispute over retiree health care benefits.
  • BP Exploration & Production Inc. v. McCarthy (S.D. Texas) Represented BP in lawsuit filed against the Environmental Protection Agency, in which BP challenged the legality of EPA’s decision to suspend BP from entering government contracts and leases. The matter was successfully resolved when EPA lifted the suspension and the parties entered into an administrative agreement.
