Janet C. Shamilian is an associate in Quinn Emanuel’s Los Angeles office. She has represented plaintiffs and defendants across a wide range of complex litigation matters, including class actions, commercial contract disputes, intellectual property cases, antitrust matters, employment issues, regulatory proceedings, internal investigations, and criminal inquiries.
Prior to joining the firm in 2019, Ms. Shamilian externed for the Honorable Stephen V. Wilson of the Central District of California and for the Justice System Integrity Division of the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office. Ms. Shamilian also worked at a Fortune 500 company where she dealt with matters involving intellectual property, patents, and commercial licensing. While in law school at the University of Southern California Gould School of Law, she served as the president of the Student Bar Association, a member of the Small Business Clinic, and a member of the National Moot Court Team.
An active member of her community, Ms. Shamilian currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Los Angeles Metropolitan Debate League and previously served as a board member of the USC Gould Alumni Association.
