Nic Siebert is an associate in Quinn Emanuel’s New York office.  He first joined the firm in 2019.  His practice focuses on antitrust litigation—on both sides of the “v.”—with a special emphasis on the financial services and high‑tech markets.

In his financial services practice, Nic represents both class actions and individual plaintiffs against major banks.  He was part of the team named Litigator of the Week by in 2023 for helping secure a $499 million dollar settlement against the world’s largest bank in the Stock Loan Antitrust Litigation.  In the firm’s Variable Rate Demand Obligation (“VRDO”) Antitrust Litigation, Nic argued class certification before Southern District of New York Judge Jesse Furman.  Judge Furman granted the motion, certifying a class seeking over $4 billion dollars in damages, pre‑trebling, in September 2023.  Nic argued class certification and Daubert points relating to one of Plaintiffs’ lead economists.  For his work, he was interviewed by The American Lawyer (

In his high‑tech practice, Nic represents both class actions and individual plaintiffs against large tech companies, including Amazon, Apple, and Valve.  He also maintains an active defense side practice, including representing a major seller of Atlantic farm‑raised salmon facing cartel allegations and a major pharmaceutical company facing monopolization allegations.

Nic maintains an active pro bono practice, including representing an individual in an Americans With Disabilities Act jury trial in federal court and numerous lawsuits against the New York Police Department on behalf of a privacy advocacy organization.  He also teaches moot court and mock trial to public high school students in Queens.
