Kiersten Whitfield is an associate in Quinn Emanuel’s Washington, DC office. She joined the firm as an associate in 2022 after working as a summer associate in 2021. Her practice focuses on complex commercial litigation.
Kiersten graduated Order of the Coif from Georgetown University Law Center, where she represented survivors of domestic violence in Civil Protection Order cases as a student attorney in the Domestic Violence Clinic, co-directed the Trial Advocacy Division of the Barristers’ Council, and served as the Senior Marketing Editor for the American Criminal Law Review. Kiersten also served as a Law Fellow for First-Year Legal Research and Writing and as a research assistant for Professor Irving Gornstein (Supreme Court Institute). During law school, Kiersten worked as a law clerk for the Public Integrity Section of the United States Department of Justice and AEquitas, a nonprofit organization focusing on the effective prosecution of violence against women.
