John Wilson IV is an associate in Quinn Emanuel’s Washington, D.C. office. He joined the firm as a Summer Associate in 2022 and returned as an Associate in 2023.
John graduated from Washington University in St. Louis, where he was a member of the Jurisprudence Review Journal and President of the Black Law Students Association. In law school, John worked as a clerk for the ACLU of Missouri and Arch City Defenders in St. Louis. While there, he represented civil litigants who could not afford their own legal representation and suffered from different injustices present in the St. Louis community.
Prior to law school, John started his career in finance at Texas Instruments. While there, he managed and forecasted multi-billion dollar budgets for various product lines at the company, focusing on minimizing overhead cost.
