Alex Bromwich

Alex Bromwich is an associate in Quinn Emanuel’s London office, having joined the firm in 2021. His practice focuses on complex commercial litigation and international arbitration, with an emphasis on civil fraud, joint venture disputes, shareholder and securities litigation, and contentious probate matters.

Alex has represented claimants and defendants in high-value, cross-border disputes before the English High Court (across various divisions), the Abu Dhabi Global Market, the Competition Appeal Tribunal and the courts of the Isle of Man, as well as in LCIA and ICC arbitrations. He has acted for sovereign investors, insolvency officeholders, multinational corporations and high net worth individuals, in cases spanning a number of jurisdictions and a range of sectors, including natural resources, healthcare, gambling/gaming, real estate, technology and financial services.

Prior to joining the firm, Alex trained in the London office of an international U.S. law firm, where he gained exposure to a broad range of cross-border disputes, representing multinational corporations and financial institutions in areas including insolvency, banking, construction and insurance. Alex graduated from Durham University with a first class degree in Politics in 2017, and holds a first class Graduate LLB and an LLM in Commercial Legal Practice (Distinction) from BPP University.
