Nic Siebert is an associate in Quinn Emanuel’s New York office. He first joined the firm in 2019. His practice focuses on antitrust litigation, on both sides of the “v.”

In his plaintiff practice, Nic has represented class actions and individual companies against many of the world’s largest companies. Nic was part of the team named Litigator of the Week by Law.com in 2023 for helping secure a $499 million settlement against the world’s largest bank in the Stock Loan Antitrust Litigation. In the firm’s Variable Rate Demand Obligation (“VRDO”) Antitrust Litigation, Nic argued class certification. Southern District of New York Judge Jesse Furman certified the class and the Second Circuit affirmed. For his work in VRDO, he was interviewed by The American Lawyer. Nic has been the lead associate in numerous cases against tech companies, including Amazon, Apple, Valve, Visa, and Mastercard. Nic was also the lead associate for Quinn Emanuel at the Pacific Steel Group v. Commercial Metals Company, et al. trial (N.D. Cal.). The jury returned a $110 million verdict, every penny requested.

In his defense-side practice, Nic has represented a major seller of Atlantic farm‑raised salmon facing cartel allegations and a major pharmaceutical company facing monopolization allegations. Both cases settled favorably.

Nic maintains an active pro bono practice, including representing an individual in an Americans with Disabilities Act jury trial in federal court and numerous lawsuits against the New York Police Department on behalf of a privacy advocacy organization. He also teaches moot court and mock trial to public high school students in Queens.
