BOSTON, M.A. – Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, LLP, the global litigation powerhouse, named Aliki Sofis as the firm’s newest Co-Managing Partner of the Boston Office. Sofis will be serving in this role alongside Patrick D. Curran, a Co-Managing Partner and Founder of Quinn Emanuel’s Boston Office.

“I am honored by this appointment to Co-Managing Partner and look forward to further growing Quinn Emanuel’s Boston practice and expanding our litigation footprint. Since the office opened just six years ago, we more than quadrupled attorney headcount and we strategically expanded our work in several key sectors, including financial services, biotech, government investigations, higher education and antitrust matters,” said Aliki Sofis, Partner at Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, LLP. Sofis also noted that she is “particularly proud that our Boston office is composed of over 20 female attorneys, representing more than half of the office. Sofis became a Partner at Quinn Emanuel in 2019, following her departure from a different preeminent global corporate law firm where she practiced for eight years. Prior to joining Quinn Emanuel, Sofis also served as Special Assistant District Attorney for Middlesex County.
“Aliki has been a dedicated member and leader of Quinn Emanuel’s Boston Office since its inception. Her strategic approach to her cases has propelled our growth in key sectors, making our team of attorneys the go-to litigators in Boston,” said Patrick “Pat” Curran, Co-Managing Partner of Quinn Emanuel’s Boston Office, “Aliki rose to the top of her career in record pace and has demonstrated immense talent through her work on some of the firm’s most high-profile cases.”
Sofis is being named Co-Managing Partner of Quinn Emanuel’s Boston Office at a time of tremendous achievement. Over the years, the office has cemented its position in Boston as the only true trial specialist with the necessary on-the-ground capabilities to handle any type of dispute at any stage.
