Quinn Emanuel has once again secured its position as the foremost "most feared" law firm in BTI Consulting Group's 2025 "Most Feared Law Firms in Litigation" guide. This latest accolade signifies the firm's third consecutive year at the top and its fifth overall. It marks the firm's eleventh inclusion in the esteemed "Fearsome Foursome" list and the fourteenth instance of being acknowledged in the "Most Feared in Litigation" rankings.
Throughout the past year, our firm has achieved numerous high-profile victories. To highlight just a few: we obtained a dismissal of all charges against Alec Baldwin in the manslaughter prosecution arising from the shooting and death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of the film "Rust." On behalf of our client, Citadel founder, and CEO Ken Griffin, we obtained an unprecedented apology from the IRS, along with commitments to enhance its data security systems following the unauthorized disclosure of Mr. Griffin's and other high-net-worth taxpayers' personal information. We reached a $6.01 billion settlement from 3M Company for U.S. servicemembers and veterans affected by hearing loss/tinnitus due to defective earplugs. We secured a $1.5 billion victory for investors in a dispute with Argentina regarding the purchase of the country's debt, and we also obtained a favorable ruling in the UK Supreme Court in a $2 billion case on behalf of Ukraine against Russia.
This recognition is a testament to the dedication and hard work of all those at QE.
