In a recent interview with Law.com, Quinn Emanuel Partner Sarah Heaton Concannon discusses her career and journey to becoming Chair of the firm’s SEC Enforcement Defense Practice.
Following her tenure as a senior trial lawyer and advisor at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in Washington, D.C., Sarah joined Quinn Emanuel in 2021. The firm quickly recognized her talents and unmatched expertise, appointing her to Chair of the SEC Enforcement Defense Practice. For Sarah, “you can either lead or follow,” and taking on a leadership role at the firm has allowed her to help build the future of what the practice will look like in the future.
Throughout the interview, Sarah stresses the importance of flexibility and continued learning throughout one’s career and recommends that all attorneys adopt this mentality.
