Quinn Emanuel Partner Haiyan Tang Speaks at the 2024 Annual Meeting and Joint Conference of the CAPA-CT and the AFAY

Quinn Emanuel Partner Haiyan Tang was invited to speak at the 2024 Annual Meeting and Joint Conference of the Chinese American Professors’ Association in Connecticut (CAPA-CT) and the Asian Faculty Association at Yale (AFAY), held on May 4. The theme of her speech was "United Voices – Legal Advocacy and Solidarity Among Asian Americans Against Discrimination." During the event, Haiyan explored the challenges Asian Americans face, lessons from the history of American legal activism, and highlighted Quinn Emanuel’s collaboration with the ACLU, the Asian American Legal Defense and Education Fund, and DeHeng Law Offices in challenging Florida's SB 264 real property ban. She also discussed actionable steps to combat discrimination.
