The acronym, which pops up on internal communications at Quinn Emanuel, is “a simple yet powerful statement of the greatness of the firm and its people,” Co-Managing Partner Michael Carlinsky said in an interview with the UK’s Financial News.
Carlinsky, who also serves as Global Head of Complex Litigation and Co-Chair of Insurance Litigation, told the Financial News how daily emails celebrating the firm’s legal victories recognize the contribution of each person on the winning team, from partners and associates to paralegals and secretaries. The firm has enjoyed double-digit growth for a third straight year and is now positioning itself for further success in an increasingly competitive legal landscape, both by doubling down on its current rich resources and by preparing for a major hiring push.
Its reputation as a passionate and fearless advocate for its clients is reflected in a steady stream of new business – including clients referred by rivals that have done battle with QE and know how formidable the firm is.
“You have to be 100% committed,” Carlinsky says.
