Quinn Emanuel’s John McCauley to speak at BASF “What’s Next in Patent Eligibility?” Panel

Quinn Emanuel’s John McCauley is to speak at the Bar Association of San Francisco’s “What’s Next in Patent Eligibility?” Panel, presented by The Intellectual Property and Internet Law Section of the BASF’s Barristers Club.  The Panel will be discussing the USPTO’s recent changes to patent eligibility and functional claiming, the impacts of those changes on patent prosecution and litigation, and of proposed game-changing patent eligibility reforms in Congress.  Specifically, John will touch upon the impact on litigation strategy stemming from recent PTO guidance on section 101, in addition to discussions in Congress around the revamp of the patent eligibility statute.
