Quinn Emanuel attorney Mark A. Treitel is co-chairing TechTainment™ 2026 on Friday, October 16, 2026, at the historic ASU California Center in downtown Los Angeles. Mark founded the conference, which highlights the intersection of technology, entertainment, and law.
In addition to being a Matrix Sponsor of the event, partners William Sears and Sandra Haberny will be participating in two panels. Will’s panel, “Old Law, New Fights: Antitrust’s Comeback in Tech and Entertainment,” will explore how decades-old antitrust precedents are animating some of today's biggest battles in those fields. Sandra’s panel, “Civility 2.0: Navigating Professionalism and Ethics in Tech & Law,” will address how attorneys can best conduct themselves when dealing with the pressures of litigating in the highly complex overlap of the two industries
To promote the event, Mark was featured on Dr. Laura Scherck Wittcoff’s Small & Gutsy podcast, where he discussed the conference’s origins and goals, and what to expect this year.
