O’Neil brings extensive experience in white-collar and corporate fraud litigation, strengthening the firm’s expertise in complex legal matters.
WASHINGTON, DC – Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, LLP, the global litigation powerhouse, today announced Ben O'Neil has rejoined the firm as a partner in the Washington, DC office. O'Neil brings substantial experience in managing domestic and cross-border white-collar and corporate fraud litigation, with a particular focus on crisis situations.
O'Neil is rejoining Quinn Emanuel after a tenure at McGuireWoods LLP, where he led numerous high-profile matters. He previously served as a partner at Quinn Emanuel from 2015 to 2022, representing clients in investigations for companies such as Digital Bridge, FIFA, and BTG Pactual Group.

Earlier in his career, O’Neil held roles at the Department of Justice, where he prosecuted securities fraud and Foreign Corrupt Practices Act cases. O’Neil also held positions at Kobre & Kim LLP, where he focused on government enforcement defense, and at Williams and Connolly, where he gained experience in white-collar litigation and assisted with free agency negotiations for NBA players.
