Katie Reith is based in Quinn Emanuel’s London office. She has years of experience managing multi-jurisdictional, complex and high-value disputes. This includes disputes in the UK higher courts, including the UK Supreme Court, as well as in ad hoc arbitrations and arbitrations under institutional arbitration rules. Her previous cases include arbitrations under the LCIA, ICC, ICSID, LMAA and UNICTRAL rules.
Katie has strong expertise in litigating allegations of fraud and bribery. She regularly advises on procedures for the urgent tracing, preservation and recovery of assets. Her practice also encompasses shareholder and joint venture disputes, complex trusts, and jurisdictional disputes, including obtaining anti-suit injunctions, as well as acting for insolvency officeholders in bringing or defending claims.
Katie acts for high net worth and political individuals, as well as states, state banks and major corporations. She is therefore adept at conducting both high profile and highly private cases. Katie also has particular experience of litigation relating to African jurisdictions, CIS territories and the Middle East, where she previously worked.
