Aliki Sofis is a seasoned litigator and trial lawyer with wide-ranging experience handling plaintiff-side and defendant-side complex commercial disputes, including bet-the-company litigation, crisis management, consumer class actions, technology litigation, international arbitrations, business fraud, employment disputes, securities matters, and healthcare litigation before a number of federal and state courts and arbitration tribunals.

Aliki has represented corporations, individuals, and financial service firms and corporate officers and directors in high-stakes, high-dollar disputes domestically and internationally, and advises both corporate and individual clients on strategic resolution of commercial disputes and on trial strategy. Aliki has extensive trial experience, participating in two or more trials or arbitration hearings per year, including a recent multi-trip arbitration in Hong Kong that resulted in a $100 million award and an expedited twelve week file-to-trial jury trial in the District of Massachusetts that secured a jury verdict of non-infringement on all asserted patents.
Aliki further expanded her courtroom experience in 2014, when she served as a Special Assistant District Attorney for Middlesex County, where she prosecuted jury trials and argued evidentiary motions regularly.

- Served as trial counsel representing Markforged in a three-week jury trial before the District of Massachusetts, where Desktop Metal sought permanent injunction and damages in connection with certain patents. Secured jury verdict of noninfringement on all patents at issue on behalf of Markforged.
- Successfully represented LoJack Corp. during a month long international arbitration with summations on liability and damages in Hong Kong, on a matter brought against a Chinese supplier for breach of warranty. In one of the largest international arbitration awards ever decided in Hong Kong or China, won a $98.5 million award, with all counterclaims against the client denied.
- Successfully obtained significant nationwide preliminary injunction, on an emergency basis, on behalf of Steward Health Care in MA state court in connection with critical care staffing during the COVID-19 pandemic.
- Secured jury verdict in a three-week trial in the Business Litigation Session of Massachusetts Superior Court in a dispute over stock purchase agreement, employment agreements and M.G.L. c. 93A, and prevailed on all counterclaims against the software company owner clients.
- Achieved complete victory for LoJack Corp. in high-stakes, three-week international arbitration before the ICDR involving purported material contract breaches. Panel awarded zero damages on claims seeking in excess of $100 million in damages, and found in favor of the client's counterclaims.
- When a high-ranking female executive endured years of discrimination, harassment, demotion and constructive discharge due to her gender, pregnancy and status as a mother, Aliki co-led negotiations against a large sporting goods retailer for a multi-million dollar pre-litigation settlement.
- Represented The TJX Companies and certain subsidiaries in consumer class actions in California and New Jersey challenging TJX's price advertising practices under state consumer protection statutes, as well as in Massachusetts with respect to TJX’s marketing of certain products.
- Secured decision on behalf of Dentsply Sorona (f/k/a Astra Tech, Inc.) after a two-week bench trial regarding an indemnification dispute with shareholders' agent over disposition of an escrow fund.
- Successfully represented national law firm relating to employment discrimination and retaliation suit, securing dismissal of all claims against it at summary judgment.
- Regularly represents private equity, hedge fund, and investment management clients in internal investigations, compliance matters, and enforcement actions.
