Awards

In a year of accolades for Quinn Emanuel, including back-to-back Litigator of the Week honors, we’re proud to add a coveted distinction for our remarkable Chair of M&A Litigation, Andrew Rossman.

Rossman, a managing partner of the firm’s New York office, was named Attorney of the Year at the 2026 ALM New York Legal Awards dinner. He was recognized for spearheading the habeas case of Kilmar Ábrego García, who was dispatched to a notorious prison in El Salvador despite a court order against it, and for guiding Amber Energy through the multibillion-dollar acquisition of Citgo, among other feats.

Whether fighting for due process in a case that gripped the nation and tested the strength of our institutions, or navigating one of the most complex M&A matters of his career, Andy exemplifies the judgment, tenacity, and principle that define Quinn Emanuel.

Pretty good speaker, too – his remarks brought people at the dinner to their feet and were described as “brilliant and moving.”

Congratulations to Andy on a richly deserved award.

Read about his dramatic year in this New York Law Journal article, published when he had been named a finalist.
