Quinn Emanuel Partner David Orta to Speak at the 20th Rio de Janeiro International Arbitration Conference

Quinn Emanuel Partner David Orta will be participating in the 20^th Rio de Janeiro International Arbitration Conference on May 12, 2026, at Fundação Getúlio Vargas’s Cultural Center in Rio de Janeiro. The theme of this year’s conference is “Trust, Distrust and Skepticism in International Arbitration,” and this edition aims to bring forward essential debates on credibility and trust between arbitrators and institutions.

David, in a panel entitled “Trust, Distrust and Skepticism in the Relationship with the Arbitral Institution,” will share his expertise alongside industry experts Asli Yilmaz, Filipe Vaz Pinto, Javier Comparini-Cuetto, Patricia Shiguemi Kobayashi, and Augusto Tolentino.
