Sara Clark is an associate in Quinn Emanuel’s Houston office.  As a member of the firm’s Government Enforcement and White Collar Criminal Defense, Crisis Law and Strategy, and Latin American practice groups, she focuses her practice on complex and sensitive international and domestic internal and government investigations, as well as cross-border disputes.  She advises clients on a broad range of international and domestic white-collar issues, including corruption, fraud, sanctions, international regulatory matters, money laundering, False Claims Act violations, and crisis management, with a particular focus on Latin American issues.  While her representations often focus on obtaining negotiated resolutions out of court and without indictment, she also has criminal trial and appellate experience. She joined the firm in 2017 after completing a clerkship for the Honorable Priscilla R. Owen of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and her prior pro bono work focused on preparation and filing of petitions for federal habeas corpus on behalf of death-sentenced inmates in Texas.
